Some sessions in EGU2013 are going to implement new systems for interactive content presentation (PICO).
PICO system brings together the advantages of both, oral and poster communications as an innovative type of presentation which opens the opportunity to be interactive. During PICO-implemented sessions, authors present their work orally. But afterwards, all session attendees have enough time to watch the presentation again at PICO spots. The system allows attendees to hold discussions with the author and colleagues, and to network.
PICO presentations may include multimedia materials as usual Power Point presentations, video clips, animations or PDF files, which may be displayed. Public may attend the presentation just sitting in front of displays or interacting directly by mean of touch-screen displays.
